I have maintained a private practice for individuals and couples in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood since being licensed as a psychologist in 1985. My many years of being an Associate Clinical Professor in the UCLA Psychology Department have kept me abreast of advances in the field of psychology. It has been helpful to be eclectic in my theoretical orientation, depending upon the personality of the client, the issues discussed, and the client's own history of what has and has not been helpful in the past. I integrate cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and humanistic elements in my approach to each client, always attempting to provide a safe and respectful environment in which clients can grow.
