  1. Meet The New Co-President
Meet Robbert Schalekamp, new LAGPA Co-President.
  2. Executive Director Report
A roundup of the latest news from LAGPA.
  3. "Gay: The New Straight" — I Don't ThinK So!
    by Don Kilhefner
The title certainly got my attention: “Gay—the new straight.” It was on an Op-Ed article written by columnist Gregory Rodriguez in the Los Angeles Times (11/5/07). Rodriguez goes on to make all kinds of melodramatic, but largely unfounded, claims about gay people.
  4. New & Returning LAGPA Members
    Welcome new & returning members.
  5. A Common Sense Proposal for Preventing 'Pay-Back Time' & Revenge School Shootings
    by Jason Wittman
I originally wrote this article, just after the Santana High School shooting in Santee, CA in March 2001. I thought then and still do that the press concentrating on "guns in schools" and "bullying" stories are talking about symptoms (guns) and only part of the problem (bullying).
  6. Winter Social
Photos from the event in December.
  7. Lawrence E. Hedges Educational Workshop
  8. June Conference
