Jameson Turner, MSW, LCSW

Therapy is a team effort.  It's an opportunity to hear your own voice and discover your own wisdom.  Together, we can take that wisdom and use it to solve problems, heal emotional pain and make sense out of chaotic circumstances.  Insights gained in therapy can provide immediate relief, and can help prepare you for tomorrow's challenges.

Choosing a therapist can be difficult.  It's an important decision that is often made during periods of instability in our lives.  I offer a free consultation to discuss your needs and answer your questions.  I tailor my therapeutic approach to you, a unique individual with your own needs, your own goals and your own strengths.

I've had the privilege of spending the past twenty years working with GLBTQ people dealing with chronic disease, grief and loss, identity and gender issues, sex and sexuality issues, coming out, relationship problems and spiritual crises.  My own crisis of identity and faith has ultimately made me a stronger, more compassionate person.  No doubt many of us have faced serious obstacles to wellness and self-realization.  Please know that whatever you're going through, you don't have to go through it alone.

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction.  My private practice psychotherapy office opened in September 2017 in Encino (Los Angeles), CA.  If you are looking for a therapist, feel free to contact me so that we can discuss your needs in more detail.
