I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in anxiety disorders and LGBT-related issues. I work with gay, bisexual and trans individuals struggling with self-esteem, coming-out, addictions, sexual health, HIV/AIDS and relationship difficulties that often stem from growing up in a heteronormative society that devalues and discriminates against same-sex love.
I completed three years of post-doctoral clinical training in the OCD Intensive Treatment Program at UCLA where I learned to treat Obsessive-Compulsive and related disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a type of behavior therapy designed to treat OCD and impulse-control disorders.
I later completed a yearlong training program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (ICP), as well as five additional years of psychoanalytic training at The New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP)
