Bailey Franklin

Bailey Franklin

My approach centers on exploring our untapped sources of strength and resilience to break through doubts, fears and insecurities. Together we can work to change old patterns of feeling and thinking and empower your authentic self. In my work with LGBTQIA+ clients, this takes the form of addressing the often hidden trauma and wounds to the self inflicted by our families and society. Who and how we love deserves celebration, not just tolerance, and I am also Poly/Kink affirmative.

My therapeutic process integrates strength-based modalities that are tailored to the unique needs of each client. In addition to LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy, my training also includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and Motivational Interviewing (MI) for clients who are struggling with substance use. I practice in both English and Spanish.
