I am originally trained as a clinical psychologist and received additional training as a psychoanalyst. I work with people to help them understand themselves and their relationships by discovering what has happened in the past so that they can see clearly where they need to go in the future. I am intent on listening to people so that they feel that they can be heard and seen. Many gay and lesbians grow up "hidden", not telling anyone who they are for fear of rejection, among other issues. By letting oneself to known to another, it lends the way for a fuller, more satisfying life.
