I have been in private practice for 10 years in Los Angeles and work with individuals, couples and families. I started my career as a college counselor working with students with learning problems and disabilities and later became a supervisor and manager of adult psychiatric programs for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center and Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in Culver City.I enjoy working with adults of all ages from 18 to 80 years old and sometimes work with teenagers as well. I have worked with many psychiatrists and physicians and can help with coordination of services for medication or medical treatment. My approach to therapy is practical and I work to help my clients achieve actual behavior change while increasing their understanding of the origins of their problems.
