I specialize in helping people who would like a better life, and could use some support. I recognize challenges that face our community, and I'm LGBTQ-affirmative. I tend to help people who are dealing with a specific crisis, such as a separation, painful relationships, or a traumatic event. I also work with people who struggle with a sense of meaninglessness, or depression. Often, my clients work on maintaining a greater sense of inner authority. For some, difficulties in this area relate to events from childhood. I believe that real change is possible through therapy. However, real change requires a commitment to identifying your deepest values, getting clarity about what blocks you, and finding the courage to relate to the world in new ways. I support your ability to stay on this path long enough to experience the rewards. I offer some low-fee or sliding scale spots, and my first session is free. I also work with children and adolescents.
