Andrew J Leone, PsyD



Dr. Leone is a registered psychological assistant  (PSB 94021588) working in a private practice setting in Agoura Hills, Ca. He obtained his graduate degrees from the American School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco.  Dr. Leone holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Clinical Psychology, a Master in Counseling Psychology, as well as a certoification in Clincial Hypnotherapy.  He is expereinced working expereinctailly and dynamically in both short and long-term psychotherapy with adults, children and adolescents, with couples and groups. 

Dr. Leone began his training working with individuals in addiction in an inpatient community setting.  He later spent two years working with the Novato Unified School District in Northern California. Additional Clinical settings within which Dr. Leone has experience includes hospitals, residential, day-treatment, crisis stabilization facilities, public schools and colleges, community mental health clinics, and county facilities.

Today, Dr. Leone treats individuals with a broad range of presenting problems and hopes continue to specialize in Addiction recovery, gender issues, compulsive behaviors, and interpersonal conflict resolution.  Dr. Leone is experienced and competent in working with people from many cultural and professional backgrounds, as well as persons from the full spectrum of sexual identities and orientations. Dr. Leone hopes to bring a fresh perspective and energetic approach to psychotherapy and a comprehensive understanding of the multiple components that influence and make up the individuals he works with.  His therapy style is active, direct and respectful as he assists clients in the development and implementation of their unique, effective solutions.
